Interactive Stars
One of my first big projects that blended art and programming. I used the XBOX Kinect, Processing and a projector to create a space in which participants could move stars in their space. My poor Surface Pro 2 at the time never thanked me for the abuse.
Playing with Holograms
I used my Surface Pro 2 and Processing to create a cool particle system. I then used Plexiglass and some acrylic weld to make a sculpture to place over top of my Surface to create a sort of hologram effect.
Motion Sensor Fountain
I kept thinking of how people pass art by in galleries, and wanted a way to slow things down. I used Processing to design imagery that I had etched into Plexiglass. I soldered a motion sensor to a relay in a fountain motor. This project firmly reminded me that I am not an engineer, and belong behind the computer.
